More than 200 were killed during the blast, more than 7000 were injured and dozens were lost. Hundreds of thousands were left without a roof over their heads.

This devastation coincided with the economic, political, and health crises that are ravaging our country, especially with the daily plunge of covid19 cases.

As such, Stouh Beirut Association, on the basis of its objectives of helping people, and poverty-stricken individuals who lack a breadwinner, has launched a campaign titled, بيروت شامخة عطول or Beirut Always Stands Tall that aims to rebuild our capital.

This campaign requires a lot of funding in order to restore or provide homes for the highest number of people who were affected and to compensate as much as we can, for the losses of those who were deprived of their homes, their jobs, or their sources of income…

Our target is to restore and rebuild up to 50 houses that were destroyed or damaged by this explosion.
